Woodland Corner provides Out of School Care in its purpose-built setting in the grounds of Nayland Primary School, for children aged from 2 to 11 years old. Although we are a term-time pre-school we also offer occasional holiday clubs throughout the school holidays. Children can access safe and secure care and enjoy a wide range of activities tailor made to their ages and interests.
Key workers work close with parents/carers, updating them on how their day has been at the end of the day, as well as uploading observations to Famly with pictures to see what they get up to throughout their day. For reassurance, you are welcome to call at any time! If you would like to book an appointment, please email us or chat to a member of staff.
Woodland Corner have social media (Facebook and Instagram) which are regularly updated with images showing what we have been up to and what is going on. In addition to this, we send out Mailchimp emails with all the important information you need to know. You can also read our newsletter or check the notice board outside of Woodland Corner.
The “Nursery Management Software” we use on a daily basis to administer our Pre-school is called Famly. It takes all the necessary precautions to ensure that you and your children have the best experience possible at Woodland Corner. We use Famly to:
At Woodland Corner, we believe it is vital to work in partnership with parents/carers and form great bonds with our key children’s families. If you speak to their key worker or arrange a meeting, we can discuss how to support and extend your child’s development.
There is a consumable fee for all funded hours to ensure we consistently maintain the extent of our offering. This covers the cost of snacks and consumables. Parents/carers who are experiencing financial difficulty and who cannot pay this fee should let us know so we can support you.
