Latest News (Pre-School) – November ’24

- We have talked about the seasons and looked at the changes to the trees surrounded our building. We collected the fallen leaves and made squirrel pictures.
- We enjoyed making pumpkin pictures and hammering golf tees into pumpkins which challenges our fine and gross motor skills.
- We celebrated Guy Folks by making safe sparklers! Cheryl, Abbie and Laura made toffee apples and autumn themed biscuits and sold hot chocolate at the Nayland Bonfire night. We raised lots of money for new equipment and toys.
- We remembered the fallen by watching a special CBeebies episode on Armistice Day and making Poppy pictures.
- On Friday 15th we celebrated Children in Need day (Pudsey Bear) with biscuit making/colouring and we all got to wear our PJ’s (even the teachers!).
- A few times a week we have some ‘Two are Special’ time with just our youngest children. This aids their Speech and Language development as well as turn taking skills.
- On Thursdays, children have continued to enjoy Forest School with Laura Ladybird. The last week before Christmas will be the 5th December and this will be Christmas themed.
- On Friday children have continued to enjoy Multi Sports.
- We have been making angels with Emma’s mum for St Matthew’s Leavenheath Angel Festival. From Sunday 8th December until Christmas.
- The week of the 18th of November is Nursery Rhyme week. We will be singing a new nursery rhyme each day and doing various activities.
