🌼 Spring has sprung at Woodland Corner Preschool! 🌼

This week the children have been celebrating the arrival of spring by learning all about flowers. As you can see from the photos, they have created lots of beautiful artwork inspired by the different flowers we explored together. 🎨🌸

We looked closely at real flowers, touching them and smelling them, and learning about the different parts of a flower including the bulbs, roots, shoots, stems, petals and even the trumpet shapes some flowers have. 🌷

It couldn’t have been a better week to begin this theme, as we’ve also noticed so many changes happening in our environment. The children have been brilliant at observing what’s growing around us.

We’ve encouraged everyone to keep a lookout when they’re out and about with their families to see what different flowers they can spot.
